Rick
Welcome to The Glue Wars Podcast, the only podcast dedicated to the greatest game of deception, strategy, and, well, glue. I am Rick Marquette.
Eric Marquette
And I am Eric Marquette. And if you are listening for the first time, you are in for a wild ride. This is your official introduction to Glue Wars.
Rick
Now, for those of you who have been here since day one, you already know how chaotic things can get. But for our new listeners, let us break it down.
Eric Marquette
So, what exactly is Glue Wars? Well, it is a game. A game of strategy. A game of alliances. A game where the goal is simple—hold onto the glue.
Rick
That is it. Just keep the glue in your possession. Sounds easy, right?
Eric Marquette
Not even close. Because everyone else is trying to take it from you.
Rick
And they will lie, trick, and sometimes even outright steal to make sure they get it.
Eric Marquette
And that is what makes it so good. It is not just about having the glue. It is about making sure no one else knows where it is.
Rick
Or making them think they know where it is. Because let me tell you, some of the best moves in Glue Wars are not just about getting the glue. They are about making other people think they are getting the glue—when really, they are walking straight into a trap.
Eric Marquette
Which brings us to the rules. Because yes, there are rules. Even in Glue Wars, chaos has its limits.
Rick
Kind of.
Eric Marquette
Sort of. But there is a system to keep things from getting completely out of control.
Rick
And that system is strikes.
Eric Marquette
Strikes are handed out for bad behavior. Maybe you stole the glue before the game started. Maybe you tried to change the rules. Maybe you just did something so out of line that it had to be punished.
Rick
You get eight strikes, and you earn yourself a warning. Not great, but not the end of the world.
Eric Marquette
Get twenty warnings, and now you have a real problem. Because that is when you earn something called a disappointment award.
Rick
And trust me, you do not want a disappointment award.
Eric Marquette
It is exactly what it sounds like. It is a formal recognition of just how badly you have messed up.
Rick
And if you somehow manage to get thirty five disappointment awards, well, congratulations. You are officially disqualified.
Eric Marquette
Which means you are out of Glue Wars for good. No more scheming, no more alliances, no more chance at victory.
Rick
And let me tell you, nobody wants to go out that way.
Eric Marquette
Now, if you are wondering why the rules sound so complicated, it is because Glue Wars is not just a game. It is a war. And wars have consequences.
Rick
And honestly, the best part of the game is watching how people react to those consequences. Some players play it safe. Others push the boundaries until they are one step away from disaster.
Eric Marquette
And that is exactly what we cover here on the podcast. Every trick, every betrayal, every shocking moment. If it happens in Glue Wars, we are talking about it.
Rick
So, if you are new here, welcome. If you have been here since the beginning, welcome back. Either way, buckle up. Because Glue Wars is just getting started.
Eric Marquette
And trust us, it only gets crazier from here. Thanks for tuning in and get ready for the glue.
